Summer's Fan-Fiction
Hey guys!
Here is my Two and A Half Men Fan-fic... The twist is that for once, Charlie falls in love, but the girl he falls in love with is into Alan not him... dun dun dunnnnnn...
I'm not sure whether i should finsh it there? Let me know ASAP.. I thought maybe it was a good time for a "to be continued..." part! Sorry it's sooo long also.. i've hit 2273 words. goodluck! I'm off to work now, i'll check this again at 1.30am.
“…Um… where are you going?” Alan anxiously asked Charlie. “I’m going out on a date”, he confidently said buttoning his crisply ironed shirt up.
“With who this time?”
“Alan, Alan, Alan…” He said, walking Alan into the kitchen.
“Do you remember that time in sixth grade, when you asked that girl out, and she said no because she liked someone else?”
“Yeah Sarah Hoffman, why what’s your point Charlie?”
“Well ah… I was the other guy.” Alan’s’ expression changed instantly.
“Wait! You were the guy that bought her the flowers and chocolates, and had them delivered to her in class that time?!”
“Yeah that was me…”
“And the time she said she couldn’t come and study in the library with me because she was meeting up for ice-cream with a friend, was that you?!”
“Yeah that was me too…” Charlie said with a slight bit of ease in his voice.
“Charlie how could you do that to me?” Alan disappointedly moaned.
“Alan it was the sixth grade! We were young and innocent… you had no chance anyway”, he added.
“That’s such a careless thing o do to your brother, you should be ashamed.”
“It was the sixth grade Alan!” Charlie grunted again.
“Yeah I suppose that was a while ago.” He finally came to terms.
Walking out of the kitchen and through the lounge Charlie headed for the stairs to finish off getting ready. As Charlie was halfway up the stairs Alan walked into the lounge from the kitchen.
“Um Charlie you didn’t end up answering my question, who are you going out with tonight?” There was a silence.
Charlie looked at him awkwardly, just as the doorbell rang.
“I’ll get it”, Charlie insisted, walking briskly to the door.
“Hello Charlie” Evelyn said, inviting herself in.
“It’s only mum”, Charlie said, walking back upstairs.
He turned around quickly, “hello mother”, he said with a cheeky smirk on his face. Continuing upstairs he left Alan and Evelyn in the lounge.
“Hello Alan”, she said. What’s up with Charlie? Why is he so happy?” Evelyn questioned Alan, as if it was a bad thing. “He’s going on a date…” He disappointedly exclaimed.
“Oh I see, with who this time?”
“He hasn’t told me yet,” Alan longingly said. “I’ve been trying to get it out of him for the past ten minutes; he seems to be avoiding the question.”
Jake then slowly drifted in the lounge from the kitchen with his head down in a book to Alan’s shock.
“Jake, you grandmother’s here”, trying to get his attention. He lifted his head for a second and said “Hi Grandma”, and sat opposite them on the couch.
“Jake!” She said excitedly, “how nice of you to come and see your grandma!” He stared at his book.
“So Jake,” Alan started. “What are you reading there?” He looked up, “a book”. Alan got up and went over to take a look, “is it a book from school you have to-” Alan discovered the car magazine jammed in between the pages he was reading, with pictures of promo girls all over it. “Oh Jake that’s not educational”, he said taking the magazines out. “Hey! I was reading that!”
“Not anymore”, Alan stated.
Charlie came down the stairs all dressed up, “well I’m off”, he said quickly trying to escape.
“Whoa, whoa, whoa” Alan said standing up and walking towards him. “You still haven’t told me who your date is Charlie?”
“Alan, why does it matter?” He said slightly agitated.
“Because I’m your brother, brothers tell brother’s these things.” Just then the doorbell rang.
“And that’ll be her”, Charlie said pointing to the door.
He dashed to it quickly and opened the door. “Wow... You look stunning!” Charlie said to Sarah.
“Sarah do you remember my brother Alan?” He said re-introducing them both.
Alan was shocked and couldn’t believe it. “Sa-Sarah! Hi, good to see you again, it’s been years.” Alan surprisingly said.
“Good to see you too Alan, you haven’t changed a bit.” He didn’t know whether to take it as a compliment or not, which created an awkward silence, between them all.
“Well we better go”, Charlie said breaking the ice.
“Well good to see you again” Alan said awkwardly, giving a slight wave then closing the door after them.
“Why is the traffic so bad tonight? Charlie said, creating conversation in the car, on the way to the restaurant.
“God Damn taxi drivers!!” he yelled out the window, holding down the horn.
“Don’t you just hate them?”
Sarah yelped as Charlie slammed on the breaks all of a sudden. They both jerked forward in their seats, “Oh-o”, Charlie said, then ‘CRASH!’ Straight into the back of the taxi in front of them.
The taxi driver got out, throwing his arms around everywhere, cursing his head off is his lingo and pointing to the damage on his taxi. Charlie wound his window up fast.
“Hold on tight” Charlie warned Sarah, and put his foot down. Their heads flew back into their seats as he sped off from the taxi. Charlie could see in his rear view mirror an even more mad man, but he continued accelerating.
Dinner went a lot smoother than Charlie’s driving. The only sound to be heard on the way home was the humming coming from the engine of Charlie’s bonnet.
They arrived home to Alan asleep on the couch. His head was tipped back, and his mouth was wide open, snoring. Sarah chuckled when she saw him. “I think he was waiting up for you”, she whispered, trying not to wake him.
“I think he was waiting up for you”, Charlie jokingly replied.
“Really??” She said excitedly and seriously.
Charlie looked at her oddly, “No...I was kidding” he added. There was an awkward silence.
“I should probably head off home”, Sarah said, heading towards the door.
“Or you could stay for a coffee? A Tea? Or a soda maybe?” He asked, trying to keep her there.
“Thanks, but I should really head back home.”
“Okay then”, Charlie said shocked that she wouldn’t stay.
Charlie walked her to the door and let her out.
“Thanks for dinner Charlie, it was really nice” She said as she gave him a kiss on the cheek.
“Anytime”, he said slightly blushing. Sarah walked off, and Charlie walked back inside.
As he walked inside he glanced at Alan, who was no longer asleep, but had a rather large grin on his face, staring at Charlie.
“How was dinner?” Alan asked him.
“Dinner was nice, though the drive there was interesting. There were so many taxis and crazy drivers, and we ended up the back of one of them.”
“Wait, you crashed the car Charlie?”
“Yip, I sure did. A taxi pulled out in front of me in the traffic, and I couldn’t stop in time.”
“Was there much damage?” Alan asked curiously.
“Go and see... for yourself…” Charlie pointed towards the front door.
Alan walked out and had a look at Charlie’s car. “Oh my god, Charlie! How fast were you going?” He said walking back inside and closing the door. "The bonnet is all pushed in! What’s the damage to the other car?”
“I’m not exactly sure…” Charlie said, “we kind of just drove off.”
“Wait! A hit and run Charlie? You could get fined for that, or s-sent to jail, are you out of your mind!” Alan furiously said.
“Nope”, Charlie casually said sitting down, pouring himself a whiskey. “I think I’m falling in love though.” He sipped his whiskey.
“You’re falling in love? With Sarah… already?” Alan said surprised. “You can’t be, t-that was only your first date.” He added. Charlie looked deep into his glass, he swirled it around a couple of times and then took another sip.
“What can I say Alan? I’ve meet so many girls, but none quite like Sarah, I think she might just be the one.”
“You mean you’ve met so many girls and Sarah is the only one you haven’t slept with”, he said sarcastically.
“This is absurd Charlie; you can’t make that judgement till you’ve been on at least more than one date with her.” Alan began to sound jealous.
Charlie topped his glass up again.
“Well I’m off to bed, good night.” Alan said as he walked off to his room. Charlie sat there deep in thought.
The next morning
The next morning, Charlie and Alan met again down at the kitchen table at breakfast. Alan was reading the newspaper and eating a bowl of cereal.
“Good morning” Alan said as Charlie sat down to join him.
“Morning”, he said touching his head in pain.
“How much of that whiskey did you drink last night Charlie?”
“Not enough”, he said in all seriousness. “Surely I can’t be falling for her” he said. “I mean, you’re right, we’ve only been on one date, maybe if we’d been on two I would consider it... I just can’t stop thinking about her.” Charlie said trying to straighten his thoughts and feelings out inside his head.
Alan continued reading the newspaper.
“Good morning Charlie, good morning Alan”, Berta their housekeeper said bursting into the room with bags of groceries.
“Hey Berta”, they both replied. She began to unload the groceries, putting them away into the cupboard.
“How was your date last night Charlie?” She asked.
“It was really good…” he said staring at his bowl of cereal in front of him.
“Oh yeah, so where is she then?” she said assuming she stayed over like every other girlfriend and date of Charlie’s did.
“She went home last night”, Charlie said spooning some cereal into his mouth.
“Oh… what a bummer”, She said in a sarcastic tone, continuing to unpack.
Charlie finished his bowl of cereal.
“I’m going to have a shower.” Charlie got up and left the table, as he did this, Jake came into the kitchen for breakfast.
“Good morning Jake”, both Berta and Alan said.
“Morning” he said as he sat down with a bowl of cocoa puffs.
The phone rang shortly after. “I’ll get it” Berta exclaimed.
“Hello Harper residence” She said as she picked it up. The voice on the end of the phone asked for Alan, to her surprise. “Sure, just a sec”, she handed the phone to Alan.
He took the call into the lounge, “Hello Alan speaking” he answered.
“Hi Alan! It’s Sarah…”
“S-Sarah! Hi! How are you?” He said wandering why she would be calling him instead of Charlie.
“I’m great! I know its weird me ringing you and asking you this and all, but I was wandering if you wanted to get a coffee with me sometime today?” Alan’s mind wandered back to the conversation he had with Charlie the night before about how he felt for her, but then his mind pondered off to what Charlie did to him in the sixth grade.
“Sure, I’d love to!” He decided.
“Awesome, should I meet you at the cafe at 12 noon?” She asked politely.
“Yeah, sounds good! I’ll see you there at noon then”
They both hung up.
Alan couldn’t believe it. He had a huge grin on his face, which Berta caught when he went back into the kitchen to put the phone back. “What are you smiling about?” Berta asked.
“Oh, you know, nothing, just going for coffee with an old friend at 12.”
“An old friend aye? Who might that be?” She asked nosily.
Alan still had a huge grin on his face. “With Sarah…” he said casually.
“Sarah Hoffman, the girl that you liked in high school?”
“Yeah, that’s her, also the girl that Charlie went to dinner with last night.” He said boasting.
Berta stopped what she was doing and looked at him.
“Alan, you can’t do that! He’s your brother.”
“Yes I can he did it to me in the sixth grade”, Berta looked at him, and shook her head, “boys” she said.
Charlie came back from his shower.
“Who was that on the phone?” he asked, drying his hair with a towel.
Berta looked straight at Alan, “It was an old friend of mine”; Alan said avoiding telling him the name.
“Oh yeah who?”
“No one you know.” Alan said again trying to avoid.
“Sarah Hoffman!” Berta blurted out all of a sudden. Charlie’s face dropped. So did Alan’s.
“Berta, why would you tell him?”
“He was going to find out sooner or later.” She said.
“Find out what?” Charlie questioned confused.
“Charlie it was Sarah on the phone, she rang and asked me if I wanted to go to coffee with her today. I’m meeting her at noon.”
Charlie was speechless. He walked off, blank faced.
“Charlie? Come back. It’s only coffee” Alan said chasing him.
“I can’t believe you’d do that to me, after last night when we had that chat and everything.” Charlie said.
“Charlie lets be honest here, you’re not actually in love with her, because if you were, I probably wouldn’t be standing here in front of you right now.” Charlie sort of just looked at him.
“Well, I got to go get ready, because I’ve got a date!” he said, rubbing it in his face and letting out a short laugh.
“I thought you said coffee?”
“Yeah I did... coffee? Date? What’s the difference?” And Alan ran off to the shower.
Charlie walked in and joined Jake at the table. “What are you doing today kiddo?” He asked him in a happier tone.
“I don’t know nothing I guess.”
“Good, because you and me are going out for lunch at 12 noon.”
“Cool” Jake said with a smile on his face.

This is an entire Home and Away fanfic =D It’s a one shot about Matilda and Lucas. They decided to go bushwalking and finds something interesting…
“ “Dialogue
Italics flashbacks
Disclaimer: This is important in all fanfics. So here goes, I DO NOT OWN HOME AND AWAY!! All the characters belong to the original creator who reserves all copyrights.
It all started with that one faithful night. The night they both regretted. That one particular night. They knew that they should’ve been to Leah’s BBQ dinner but both decided not to since they were “too sick” to go because of some food they ate the previous night. What actually happened nobody knew. But for all we know they could be up to something. But let’s just hope it’s nothing bad.
“Lucas are you sure you want to do this?” asked Matilda
“Look Mattie it’s the best choice.” replied Lucas
“I mean wouldn’t the others thinks it’s suspicious? With us not being at Leah’s barbie”
“Matilda, if we go whose going you look after him? More like her as well.”
“Point taken. Either way I’m going to go over later. Hopefully they won’t suspect anything.”
“Good idea.”
At this point Matilda and Lucas was just sitting outside the porch of Lucas’ house. They pondered for a good hour or so on what to do next. In the end they both decided to take turns to look after the two little puppies. They were found last week when Matilda and Lucas on a rather romantic bushwalk trip. They were somehow abandoned in the bushes. At first Lucas thought it was a pair of baby dingoes. Matilda thought otherwise. What they did was took them in their picnic basket back home and to the nearest vet. Surprisingly they happened to meet a veterinarian named Dr. Danni Armstrong. She happened to be Rachel’s cousin.
Flashback
“I still think they’re a pair of wild dingo babies Mattie.” said Lucas
“No way! They’re puppies I tell you. You’re just lucky we don’t have school at the moment.”
“We can’t take them home with us. It’s too dangerous.”
“But Lucas, they’re only babies. We can’t leave them out like this. They’ll be eaten by wild dingoes.”
“Is something wrong?” asked a lady in blue trackies
“We found a pair of injured puppies but my boyfriend thinks it's a pair of dingo babies.” replied Matilda
“Well I can take a look at it. My Clinic isn’t too far from here so I can give those two a check up.”
“Thank you so much.” said Lucas
At the Clinic
“Well everything seems to be normal. The puppies are all healthy but they are severely dehydrated. When, how and where did you find those puppies?” asked the vet
“Well you see, me and my boyfriend decided we would go on a bush walk and picnic. On our way back we found a trail which looked like blood.” said Matilda
“We followed the trail to some nearby bushes and found two injured puppies. We were arguing about it for a while and that's when you came along.” said Lucas finishing off Matilda’s explanation
“Well you did the right thing by bringing them here. Now until they’re fully grown and ready to be adopted. They need to be under constant care. Judging by the looks of these puppies they’re only about three weeks old.” explained the vet
“Thank you.”
“We better phone someone to pick us up. We have to get home soon and fast.” said Matilda
“Let’s call Rachel. I mean your mum and my dad are out of town. Jack’s got a late night shift. Sally has to look after Pippa and Martha’s in the states visiting Tasha and Robbie.”
“Excuse me but I heard you mention the name Rachel. As in Rachel Armstrong?”
“Yeah. She’s the doctor in Summer Bay. Do you know her?” asked Lucas
“Yes in fact I do. I’m Danni Armstrong. Rachel’s my cousin.” replied Danni
Flashback ends
At Leah’s House
“I thought you were too sick to make it.” said Leah
“Yeah well we felt much better after taking some medicine Rachel prescribed to us.” said Matilda
“Thanks Rachel.”
“It’s not a problem. Just give me a call if you need anything. How’s Lucas doing?” asked Rachel
“He’s still not up to coming. I was wondering if I could bring him some food. That all right with you Leah?” asked Matilda
“Yeah sure. I’ve already had it packed in two boxes. I was going to drop it off for you guys later. Have you heard from your mum?”
“She sent me a text saying the Outback is great and that Tony and her are really enjoying themselves. Well thanks for the food. I better get going. I don’t want to keep Lucas waiting.”
-Matilda turns around-
“Lucas!” exclaimed Matilda
“I thought you were too sick to come.” said Leah
“Has anyone seen VJ?” asked Lucas
“No we haven’t why you ask?” said Rachel
“It’s just that he somehow wondered over to our house. I turned away and next thing I knew they were gone.”
“Gone? What do you mean by gone?” asked Matilda
“Those puppies.”
Moments later VJ appears with a box in his hands.
“VJ!! Where have you been?” yelled Leah
“I was only over at Lucas’ house because he wasn’t feeling too well. I found this box and played with it.”
“VJ you weren’t suppose to touch that box.”
“I know and I’m sorry but they were so cute.”
“What’s this?” asked Rachel
“We found these about two weeks ago. They were abandoned in the bushes. We were raising them because Dr Danni Armstrong said they’re too young to be up for adoption. We met up during the bushwalk.” said Lucas
“You mean my cousin Danni?”
“Yes.”
The group decided what to do with those puppies. For the remainder of the night they all took turns to look after the puppies and eventually when they were old enough they decided to give them up for adoption.”
“It’s too bad they had to go.” said Matilda
“Yeah well we did all we could for them. At least we know they’ll be in a new loving home.” said Lucas

Alexandra's Fanfiction - Final Copy.
This probably won’t make any sense if you don’t watch home and away but I have rewritten recent storylines. Just a quick bit of background about what happened in the real home and away. Jack gets shot in the chest by accident by fellow police officer, Angelo, and dies. Angelo goes to jail and is hated throughout Summer Bay. Melody runs away to Melbourne and spends a week or so living on the street but Miles and Charlie find her just in time and take her home to live happily ever after.
I would like to apologise for any puns or sarcasm.
I would also like to add, as a disclaimer, that home and away is a great show, I do
not own it and I am not intending to make any money from publishing this.
Jack has been shot in the chest but, miraculously, it missed his heart, lungs and everything vital to staying alive. He is now home and recovering. Angelo was the first on the scene of the shooting and without his quick thinking Jack may have survived.
“Are you feeling ok?”
“For the last time Martha, I am fine.” Martha was sitting beside Jack in bed, where she had been for the last 4 days. Jack painfully leaned sideways and kissed her on the forehead, “Don’t worry honey, I’m going to be fine.” Martha smiled. Jack added, “thanks to Angelo. I was thinking, maybe we should do something really special to thank him. I was thinking about naming the boat after him.” Martha‘s content smile broke into a full on grin. “I love the idea” she chimed. She reached over to the bedside table and started scribbling down notes. “Um what are you doing?” Jack inquired. “Planning a launching party of course! We can finally crack open that bottle of champagne your Dad got you for your 21st.” Martha rambled as she worked on her plans. Jack watched her, “you’re amazing Martha.”
As her mind buzzed, she started thinking of people that needed to be there. “I have to call Miles, is he back from the city yet? Oh and Charlie, and Roman! Oh it would be so great if they finally got back together!” Martha was a flurry of excitement, her husband was still with her and she wanted to celebrate. “I’m so happy you’re still with me Jack,” she whispered as she nuzzled into her husband’s shoulder. “I know." He replied. “It’s like someone rewrote my future, I was so sure I was going to die out there.” Martha shuddered at his blunt wording. “I’m feeling a bit tired” Jack yawned. “You should get some rest, you need your strength.” Martha ordered. She got off the bed and decided she should go over to the caravan park to see Alf and invite Miles to the party, if he was home.
Meanwhile Miles and Charlie are still in Melbourne looking for Melody. They have had no news of her whereabouts. Charlie had given up for the day and headed back to the hotel. Miles decided to keep going for a while longer. He eventually runs into a teenage boy hanging around the food bank.
“Have you seen this girl?” Miles softly asked to the raggedy dressed teenager. The horror in the boy’s eyes was painfully obvious to Miles. He knew right there, without asking, that Melody wasn’t coming home. He repeated the question slowly anyway. “It was her hair...” The reply wasn’t what he was expecting but painfully penetrated through his skin anyway. After offering the scared boy a warm meal at a nearby cafe, he managed to convince him to share the entire, disgusting story. Miles held himself together throughout the whole thing, to avoid scaring the child, even though he couldn’t hide the fact that his heart was being ripped out of his chest.
Miles thanked him and gave him some cash for some decent clothes and food.
Blinded by the pain of losing a child, he slowly stumbled back to the hotel, where Charlie was waiting. There, he collapsed, releasing the pain he had held in while in the presence of the street kid. “Miles, what is it?” Charlie cried, rushing to be by Miles’ side.
It was there, Miles began to retell what the boy had told him. “Melody...” He sobbed, “has been murdered.” Charlie stared at him. Unsure what to do, Miles continued. “She was sleeping on the street after leaving the shelter because her bag had been stolen. She meet another runaway, who showed her where he was going to sleep that night, he was they boy I meet today.” Miles took a break to catch his breath, Charlie took the chance to lunge at him, embracing him with all the strength she had. Miles loosened her grip and kept talking. “He was a bit blurry from here but he remembers waking up to the sound of melody screaming. He remembers seeing a guy that is well known on the streets...” He broke off, unable to keep talking from the overwhelming grief. “Go on”, Charlie urged, tears falling down her face. Miles seemed to struggle for words but uttered,”he’s known for... For kidnapping street kids and using them for... Parts."
“Pa-arts?” Charlie stumbled over her words. “Yea, apparently he’s known for selling organs through the black market. He preys on street kids because he thinks nobody will notice they are gone.” They stared at each other in silence. “And he picked her because of her hair.” Miles slowly added. “Hair?!” Charlie questioned. “Yes.” Miles answered. “Apparently in the last few years real, natural human hair has been in huge demand on the black market. It’s used to cheaply make hair extensions”.
“Oh god Miles, I am so sorry.”
“Let’s just go.”
Charlie and Miles gathered their things and left to go back to the paradise of Summer Bay. Just as they got into the car Charlie stated “Wow, another murder of a Summer Bay resident, who would of thought.”
Martha arrived at the caravan park just as Alf was putting on the jug. Shortly after they sat down to enjoy a good brew; they heard a car pull up.
“Did you hear that?” Alf question Martha. “Yea, I did actually Granddad, your hearing can’t be too bad yet” she teased. As Alf retaliated, they heard the door open. They both swung around to see a swollen-eyed Miles standing in the doorway. His sorrow filled the room and no one wanted to be the one to ask. Alf eventually stammered “Um, where’s Melody?”
“Dead.” Miles replied bluntly. “Gods truth” Alf gasped. Martha’s eyes welled up. Alf offered Miles a cup of tea and they sat down in awkward silence. Martha plucked up the courage this time, “how Miles?” Miles explained the whole story.
When he was done the only thing left to say was, “those flaming mongrels!” And sure enough Alf was the one to say it.
